Dr. Twinkal Patel Was Invited As a Guest in an Awareness Program Highlighting Healthcare Workers' Health Challenges
Dr. Twinkal Patel, a renowned doctor, President of the women's wing of Akhand Bharat Rashravadi Seva Dal, member of the government's NSS National & state award selection committee & Green Belt life coach, a drug awareness speaker at NCB, and a health and wellness speaker at NSS was recently invited as a core member of the Ahmedabad district's Self Starter Social Community Group to an awareness problem concerning health challenges faced by the healthcare workers across the country.
Workers in the healthcare industry in India face multiple challenges, which makes it challenging for them to provide exceptional healthcare to people in need for a long time. Their most important challenges include burnout, high turnover rate, low salaries, longer shifts, stress, slow adoption of technology, unhealthy work hours, and very little doctor/patient time. All of these ultimately affect their physical and mental health.
Dr. Twinkal Patel and other authorities present their shared crucial insights about the health challenges faced by workers in the healthcare industry. They discussed and explored ways to increase community awareness, improve the health of women workers, and promote hygiene.
Apart from shedding light on this topic, they distributed food and hygiene kits to 22 women and 11 men healthcare workers from the Red Cross Society.
Dr. Narayan Madhu, the joint commissioner for higher education, NSS, along with organizations like Motherhood Foundation and more NGOs, played a crucial role in the success of this event.
On speaking about the event, Dr. Twinkal Patel said, "It was a pleasure to be invited as a guest in a program that focused on highlighting health and other issues faced by the healthcare workers of our country. Recognizing, addressing, and solving the health challenges faced by them is important to benefit the workers, patients, and the country's healthcare system as a whole."
