Amazon India Activates Online Pharmacy Services.

Bengaluru: E-commerce lineage Amazon India had launched Amazon Pharmacy, marking its entry into the online medicine part that has important obtained speed when the COVID-19 led lockdown and even the following unlocking.

It has launched the online pharmacy help in Bengaluru, to begin with, and may conduct pilots in other cities too in the future.

Healthcare startups Practo, NetMeds, 1mg, PharmEasy, and Medlife, are witnessing a big roll in demand and a rush in funding activity, similar to tech platforms, which outperformed all other sectors among startups.

"As a part of our commitment to complete the needs of customers, we are launching Amazon Pharmacy in Bengaluru, ratified customers to order prescription-based medication in addition to over-the-counter medicines, basic health devices and Ayurveda medication from certified sellers. This is particularly pertinent in present conditions as it will support customers meet their essential needs while visiting safe at home," an Amazon spokesperson said.

Many countries are trying to take healthcare delivery on to the internet, incentivize telemedicine, conduct online medicine bookings, and use chatbots to answer patient queries.
