WVH Mammoth ends Young Guns tour after staff tests positive for COVID-19
"With only six concerts left on tour, my heart breaks; sadly, we cannot continue," said Wolfgang Van Halen.
Mammoth WVH has canceled the last six concerts of their Young Guns Tour after several staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
In a press release, the rock band led by Wolfgang Van Halen said they would cancel scheduled shows Tuesday at Raleigh, as well as other stops in Charlotte (April 6), Nashville (April 8), Dothan (April). 9) and Orlando (10 and 12 April). Refunds are available for ticket holders.
"After an amazing weekend in Las Vegas with my family for GRAMMYS, I flew in yesterday to meet with my band and crew in North Carolina to continue the Young Guns tour," said Van Halen, 31, in a statement.
The singer, songwriter, and musician, who has toured with Dirty Honey, continued, "This morning, as everyone was tested for COVID to recover the bladder that served us throughout the tour, we discovered that our band and crew members were not traveling, I'm positive. ."
Van Halen said he had given and continues to give negative results with rapid tests and PCR for the past five days in preparation for GRAMMYS. In addition, mammoth WVH has canceled the last six concerts of their Young Guns Tour after several staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
