Wrestler Sakshi Malik expresses his displeasure over an open written letter to Prime Minister Modi and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju
In 2016, Sakshi won a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics. She has been awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award. This time the Sports Ministry has excluded the witness owner from the Arjuna Award recipients, due to which she has expressed his displeasure by writing a letter to the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi and Sports Minister Kiren Riju.
The sports ministry pruned the list from 29 to 27, removing Sakshi and Mirabai’s name from the list.
This Indian woman player is not satisfied with the clarification of the Indian Sports Ministry, Sakshi has asked in her letter to PM Modi and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju whether she will be honoured with the Arjuna Award sometime in her sports career and for getting this honour Which medal to bring and she writes.

Every player dreams of doing all the prizes in his name. The players put their lives for this. I also dream that Arjuna will be the winner of the award in front of my name. I should come with such an angle and I should be honoured with the Arjuna Award. Or I will never get the privilege of winning this award in this bad life.”
