Will Happy new year Plan 2020 of Jio attract its user?
The recent price hike has yet again given us a flashback of high rates which every regular phone user use to pay in the starting of 2000 to 2014-15. When the Reliance entered the market, every telecom company lowered its price so that they don't lose their customers.
Jio, as we all know, has been game-changer in India in terms of price rating for average internet user, and it made calling free in India. Their data plan has been attractive right from the starting, and that's the reason they are now the biggest telecom company of India in just two year time. But recent rate hikes in November 2019 by every telecom company including Jio, is a problem for the small user.
Don't worry 2020 Jio is planning to announce attractive price to their users, and they will keep giving Internet and call free to their customers at lower rates than other telecom companies.
They are coming with happy new year plan of 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calling services, access to Jio apps like My Jio App, Jio Cinema and other apps with free SMSs at 2020INR to Jio users. It will be a one year plan for Jio users. Offer has been started from December 24, 2019; it is a limited offer till Jan 2020. Which means quarterly you will be 505, not 600 you will be saving more than 400 rupees in a year.
Reliance Jio says users can get a new JioPhone and 12 months service by paying Rs 2,020. Under the scheme, users get unlimited voice, 0.5GB data per day, SMS and access to Jio apps. The validity of the scheme for JioPhone users is 12 months. Under Reliance Jio's Rs 149 plan, customers get 1GB per day data.
I feel its an excellent strategy by Jio but will customers get attracted towards this offer is a question mark as you are paying 2020 at one time and saving 400 a year.
I feel this offer that much attractive as the Internet is free and every Indian should get Internet with much more lower rate. I think for this Government has to do something as the Internet plays a vital role if you want to take India to International level.
