Vivica A. Fox says Jada Pinkett Smith is "irresponsible" when she opens up about her husband Will Smith beating Chris Rock at the Oscars ... Vivica A. Fox holds back tears as she talks about Jada Pinkett Smith's Comments speaking about her husband Will Smith winning Chris Rock at this year's Oscars.

In an episode of Wendy Williams on Thursday, the 57-year-old actress said Jada was "irresponsible" for her involvement in Wednesday's Red Table Talk incident.

"This is go to be tough for me. This is my team-mates. I made a film with both of them. Starting with Jada and Independence Day with Will Smith changed my life. When I saw this video night, it made me cry. I will be frank with you guys," he said emotionally. . . "We all stood up for Will Smith that night - Oscar night. We wanted him to win. Will Smith will be crowned the Sydney Poitier of this generation as far as I'm concerned tonight, which is a huge honor."

Fox then explains why he believes 50-year-old Jada played a part in the incident after Rock joked about Jada's shaved head, prompting Will to come on stage and meet the comedian.

"Will Smith was defending his honor, so he went on stage and hit him because he felt his wife was offended, so I don't see the responsibility as a couple," he explained. "And don't forget that Chris Rock was attacked. We can't forget that telling a joke I felt wasn't so bad." He continued, "Don't forget that Will Packer, African-American produced the show. Tonight is African-American night, and lots of brown and black people. That will now be marked forever."

Fox hopes Will and Jada will take more responsibility for their actions after the incident.

"Until then, Will and I will continue to do what we have been doing for the last 28 years and that [yes], we keep coming back to that thing called living together. Thank you for listening to me," concluded Jada.
