Virat Kohli's Poor form Continues in second test match Newzealand, and Kyle Jamieson shines once again.
India collapsed once again in the first inning of 2nd test match against Newzealand in ongoing series.
After a good start by Prithvi Shaw, India lost few wickets in between then Pujara, and Hanuman Vihari tried to balance the inning. Both scored good Fifties, but once they both got out, India lost the momentum and lost quick wickets from 190 for 5 to 242 all out.
Once again, the hero from Newzealand side was Kyle Jamieson. This tall lad picked 5 wickets and wrapped up the tale quickly. Kyle Jamieson is coming out as a real find for Newzealand picking crucial wickets at regular interval. He is bowling with excellent line and length.
Worry factor for India is Virat Kohli's poor form and Bumrah not able to strike. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, our central pillar Virat Kohli is not able to play good innings from past few matches. Newzealand tour has been a miserable tour for him, especially ODI's & two tests.
Bumrah too is not able to find the rhythm for which he is known for. After this series, we can say Bumrah also is under pressure. After his return, he is not up to his level. It is not like he is totally out of form, but surely he is not at his best. His inconsistency is the biggest worry, as India's performance outside India depends on pacers and Bumrah is the leader of our Pace attack. Hope he bowls good spell and gets his confidence back.
We also expect our run machine Kohli finds his form in 2nd inning of the test match and help India win this match and level the series.
It will be interesting to see how the 2nd test match goes; one thing is sure India under pressure.
