Uniqlo to release a collection with Marni

Uniqlo, the apparel retailer, has announced an upcoming collaboration with Italian luxury brand Marni, where the two will launch a collection under Uniqlo's LifeWear concept.

Launched on 19 May, the collection will combine Marni's signature style with Uniqlo's innovative design and technical know-how, resulting in casual wear for both men and women.

Nine items will be available for women, including a Blocktech jacket with a cocoon silhouette, pajamas, balloon skirt, and sleeveless blouse. 

Much of Marni's identity comes in a choice of collectible colors, with pop-style graphics and a jingle vision created especially for this collaboration.

"We are proud that this collaboration with Marni has resulted in a collection for a new era and a new season where everyone can experience the joy of wearing clothes," said Yukihiro Katsuta, Senior Executive Director of Fast Retailing and Leader by R&D for Uniqlo at a press conference. I am delighted that we have realized this indispensable LifeWear collection, which positively underlines the individual's character and lifestyle."
