Tragedy: Marvel's upcoming series 'Moon Night' Fam Gaspard dies at 37

Actor Gaspard Ulil of Marvel Studios' upcoming mini TV series' Moonlight 'has died at the age of 37.  Gaspard has died in a ski accident.  Family members said he died while skiing in southeast France. 

 Collided with another skier

 The incident happened on Tuesday, January 18, ski station spokespersons said.  Gaspard hit another skier during skiing. An immediate rescue team arrived.  However, he was unconscious when the group saw the actor.

"Gaspard was airlifted to a hospital in Grenoble after the incident," the spokesman added.  He suffered severe head injuries.  However, he died during treatment.  The man with whom Gaspard collided was not injured.  The director of La Rosier Resort said Gaspard did not wear a helmet while skiing.  Thus, French skiing slopes do not require a helmet, but everyone is asked to wear one.  

Gaspard will be seen playing the character of Anton Mogart in the TV series 'Moon Light,' which will be released in March.  Gaspard was one of the top artists in France.  He became internationally famous in 2007 by playing the role of Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising.

 Won the Caesar Award in 2017

 Gaspard won the Caesar Award for Best Actor in 2017 for "It's Only the End of the World."  He starred opposite Marion Cotillard and Lee Sadox in the film.  Gaspard was born in Paris on November 25, 1984.  I started working at the age of 11.
