Tom Hiddleston and his fiance Zau Ashton are expecting their first baby together.

The 37-year-old actress on Mr. Malcolm debuted with his growing baby bump at the period drama special screening in New York on Wednesday.

Ashton looked radiant as she walked the red carpet in a stunning beaded tulle gown by Sabina Bilenko Couture, according to Vogue, who confirmed the couple's pregnancy by going behind the scenes at her pre-show glam session. Although Hiddleston, 41, was absent, Ashton was joined by colleagues Frieda Pinto, Soupe Dirisu, Theo James and Cyanad Gregory, and director Emma Holly Jones.

News  contacted a Hiddleston representative for comment but did not receive an immediate response.

At the 2022 BAFTA awards in March, Ashton sparked engagement rumors when she was photographed with the ring on her wedding finger. News confirmed they were engaged a few days after they appeared on the red carpet.

"I'm thrilled," said Hiddleston.

The pair starred in the Broadway drama Betrayal in 2019 and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Tony Awards in September. In the play, Hiddleston plays Robert, a man whose wife Emma (played by Ashton) becomes involved with his best friend, Jerry. This story follows the affair in the opposite direction, from its aftermath to its beginning.

A source close to the production told news in March that most private couples have always had "amazing" chemistry.

"They were very secretive in public, but there was great chemistry behind the scenes," an insider recalled. "And the whole company, Charlie Cox included, shone in his eyes, and they were very close."
