Praveen has had one leg more minor than an average person since childhood.
One of Praveen's legs is smaller than an average person's. But he made this weakness his strength and competed in various competitions up to the Paralympic stage. Praveen said in an interview that he was playing volleyball at school and his jump was good. Once, he took part in the high jump, and then athletics coach, Satyapal recommended studying at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
The coach advised canoeing, made history
Seeing his superb performance in swimming and Prachi's big hands, his coach asked him to try his luck in canoeing and kayaking. So Prachi started practicing in a small lake in Bhopal in 2018 under the guidance of coach Mayank Singh Thakur. Prachi also enjoyed canoeing as it was associated with swimming.
Day and night combined in practice. The result was already seen in 2019 in the form of one Gold and one Silver nationally. He then finished 8th in the canoeing event at the Paralympics Qualifying Tournament in Hungary in August 2019.
