TikTok reading star gets cast in musical West End.

A woman whose video of her singing in a supermarket was watched millions of times during the blockade lands her dream job in the West End. Hannah Loter, 24, from Reading, took the job when cinemas closed during the coronavirus pandemic.

While working, she posts videos on TikTok, converts lyrics into popular songs, and uses props off the shelf. Hannah stars in the musical Heathers when it launches in London later this month. Upon hearing the news, Hannah told the news: "Amazing, so far a fantastic experience.

"I sent in some self-recorded auditions, and I wasn't expecting anything because if it wasn't a private audition, you could send in your stuff and forget about it.

"And then on Saturday, I heard that I got the job, and I was crazy because this is my first contract with the West End."

Hannah will play New Wave Girl in the ensemble and serve as a backup for the two main characters. He said, "It's been a long time I haven't done it, and I thought I should find a regular job, and I should go a different way and try other things.

"It gave me so much hope, and I started training on Monday. We have over two weeks of training, and then we open on November 25." To the dismay of local shoppers, Hannah is no longer seen dancing in the alley.

"I started TikTok without thinking anyone would see it. I just did it to get rid of this 'staging,'" he said.

"It started when I made a fake Tesco version of nine to five Dolly Parton, and now I'm at a show in the West End."
