Tiffany Hadish says Will Smith confesses 'to his wife' at the Oscars: 'The most beautiful thing I've ever seen.'

"We only realized it then. And maybe the world didn't like the result, but it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," Tiffany Hadish told Will Smith, who beat Chris Rock.

Tiffany Hadish shared her thoughts on Will Smith beating Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards and explained why she found the controversial moment "beautiful."

"When I see a black man is defending his wife. It means a lot to me," Hadish, 42, told PEOPLE at the Governor's Party after the ceremony. Smith, 53, came on stage and slapped Rock, 57, after Rock joked about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's hair during the show.

Hadith, who has been following Girls Trip with Jada since 2017, continued: Are you your husband? I protected you."

"And that means the world to me. And maybe the world doesn't like how it fell, but to me, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen because it made me believe there are still men who love their women and care about them; Hadish then asked her," Would you do that for your wife? Would you say, 'Keep my wife's name away from your mother's?" For example, yes! Yes!"

Noting that Rock is Will and Jade's "friend," the comedian-actress asks, "Why would you do that? He's not even making fun of him, but he's hurt.

"If he weren't hurt, [Will] probably wouldn't have said anything," Hadish said. "But it's clear that he ... and they were exploiting. He then said, "Will is fine."

The incident occurred after Rock, who presented the Best Documentary Film award, joked with Will's wife in the audience, "Jada, I love you. GI Jane 2, can't wait to meet you."

Jada became aware of hair loss while battling the autoimmune disease alopecia.
