The hairdo of Halle Berry, who plays Storm in the film, impresses fans

Key Takeaways:

A fresh rumor or fan theory regarding a character or favorite fan actor appearing in Marvel's upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness emerges each week. According to fans, Halle Berry, who performed Storm in the X-Men films, is expected to reprise her role in the film this week.

Halle's new hairdo, which is surprisingly similar to the style she wore when she played Storm years ago, is the source of this 'confirmation.' The actor, on the other hand, has yet to respond.

On Tuesday, Halle Berry tweeted her fresh look with short bleached hair, which is very similar to her Storm look in the X-Men films. She wrote in the caption, "This is for all of my lovely fans who have been asking for my short hair to return! It's all for you!" On the other hand, Fans were quick to assume that Halle's new hairdo meant she'd be making at least a cameo appearance in Doctor Strange 2.

"Baby, with all these Multiverse Of Madness rumors and appearances, this haircut just told me STORM is popping up!" one fan wrote in response to Halle's tweet. "Or is it to make this happen again? (winking face emoji)." tweeted another fan, who shared a GIF of Storm from one of the X-Men films. "Tell us you're in the next MCU movie without telling us you're in the next MCU movie #storm," another fan tweeted, quoting Halle's post.

X-Men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, as well as X-Men: Days of Future Past, all featured Halle as Storm. In 2014, she made her last appearance. The actor was later seen in the sci-fi film Moonfall, released earlier this month.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Phase 4 film starring Benedict Cumberbatch. At least one of Halle's X-Men co-stars, Patrick Stewart, is set to reprise his role as Professor X.

Other rumors and leaks claim that Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Iron Man, and Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Deadpool in the film. All of them, however, is unconfirmed at this time. The film, directed by Sam Raimi, will be released in theatres on May 6, 2022.
