Key takeaways:

Fans of Spacey Kacey in Toronto, Canada, are mourning today.

On Friday, Kacey Musgraves stated that the show would be canceled on social media on Friday, just hours before her final gig on the Star-Crossed: Unveiled tour.

"Hello there, everyone. I'm sorry to inform you that tonight's event in Toronto has been canceled. Due to extremely bad weather during the night, the trucks that contain critical pieces of our production were unable to make it, "the 33-year-old actress posted on her Instagram Story.

"There is just no way to put on this event without them," she concluded. "Refunds will be made automatically to the original payment method. Please accept my sincere apologies for any difficulties or dissatisfaction."

In January, the singer began her tour in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Musgraves added the last night in Toronto last week, bringing the total number of gigs to 12.

Her fifth album, Star-Crossed, was released in September and is nominated for two Grammys in country song and country solo performance.

She also published a 50-minute video to go along with the music, which she co-wrote and executive produced. Star-Crossed: The Film, which has the same name as the record it inspired, is available exclusively on Paramount+.

Musgraves also came by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ahead of the release of Star-Crossed, where she discussed the album with the late-night host.

Colbert, 57, points out that the album's title is derived from a song, "You're ill-fated," Musgraves remarked about the album's title. The stars have decided that you are doomed. You've been f—-ed by the gods."

"It's a great way of putting it," she added, laughing. "On this record, there's a rollercoaster of feeling, and the video that we did, I mean, it's a wild journey."
