The BMC emanated a notice to the actor, Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood has been issued a notice by BMC (BMC). The information has been sent to Sonu Sood regarding constructing a hotel in a residential building in Juhu and illegal work. The notice, issued on November 15, asked Sonu Sood to convert the six-story building from a hotel to a residential installation.

Earlier this year, BMC had asked Sonu Sood to convert his Juhu-based hotel into a residential building and remove illegal constructions in the building. Sonu had approached the BMC in the Bombay High Court. Sonu said he would renovate the building. However, a new BMC notice states that Sonu has not renovated the building.

The new BMC notice addressed to Sonu said, "You stated in your letter that you have already stopped living and eating activities up to the sixth floor of the building. The building will be used for residential as planned. With that, you mentioned that essential work. '

The BMC further said, "With this, you mentioned that the necessary work of change/restoration/addition is going on. The BMC visited the site on 20.10.2021 and noticed that you had not started work as per the approved plan. '

Activist Ganesh Kusamulu accused Sonu Sood of turning the hotel into a girls' hostel. That is why the building should be demolished. According to sources, Sonu Sood has renovated the building. He has informed BMC about this. Sonu said there was no illegal construction in the building.
