Thalaivi Movie: Jayalalithaa's Journey From Actress To Mother.

Kangna Ranaut's film 'Thalaivi' has been released today (September 10). Kangana's film is based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Jayalalithaa had seen many ups and downs in her life. At one time, he was a silver screen superstar and then came into politics.

The family is called Ammo.

Jayalalithaa was born on February 24, 1949, in Mysore, Karnataka, to a Brahmin family. The family affectionately called her Ammo. His advocate father died when he was two years old. His mother came to his pier as the financial condition of the house was not good. 

After coming to Bangalore, Jayalalithaa's mother started working in a Tamil film called 'Sandhya.' To keep the daughter away from the film environment, she was put in Bengaluru by her parents. 

I started working in film at the age of 13

Jayalalithaa had a turning point in her life when she was 13 years old. Jayalalithaa was spotted by the producer of one of her mother's films. The producer offered Jayalalithaa an actress. Despite Jayalalithaa's reluctance, she agreed to work in the film and became an actress. Jayalalithaa's acting career started with the film 'Vennira' directed by CV Sridhar. Jayalalithaa was fluent in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and English.

Worked in English film at the age of 15

At the age of 15, Jayalalithaa made her film debut in the English film 'Epistle. After seeing Jayalalithaa's beauty in this film, she started getting many offers for the film. He acted in various films. He worked with Dharmendra in the only Hindi film 'Ijjat.'

Made 28 films with MGR

Jayalalithaa and MGR (MG Ramachandran) worked together in many films from 1965-1972, 28 super-duper hits. Jayalalithaa has acted in more than 140 films in her film career, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, and English films. MG Ramachandran was walking away from the film. He became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 1977. He ruled here for ten years, i.e., till 1987.

MG came into politics because of Ramachandran.

Jayalalithaa came into politics because of MG Ramachandran. Jayalalithaa joined AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) in 1982. MG Ramachandra founded this political party. Jayalalithaa's supporters used to call her Amma.

Worked on party propaganda

In 1983, MG Ramachandran appointed Jayalalithaa as the party's publicity secretary. People were impressed by Jayalalithaa's English speech. Meanwhile, there were rumors of a rift between the two. However, when MG Ramachandran fell ill in 1984, he handed over the leadership of the party's campaign to Jayalalithaa. MGR, meanwhile, was being treated in the United States.

Jayalalithaa became Sarvesarva in 1987

After MGR's death in December 1987, Jayalalithaa became a full-fledged party surveyor. However, at MGR's funeral, he was mistreated by supporters of MGR's wife Janaki, which led to the party's split. Thus, one part was for Jayalalithaa, and one piece was for Janaki.
