Swiss International University Expands Global Presence with $21.7 Million Acquisition of Academies in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan

Swiss International University has moved a crucial step forward in its overall education strategy by acquiring four top academies across Switzerland, Kyrgyzstan, and the UAE at $21.7 million. This acquisition further cements the commitment of the university to uphold the standards of great education through traditional settings and online delivery.

Amongst the many acquirables are International Academy in Zurich, founded in 2013 as Switzerland's first virtual institute. The academy received EFMD online certification in 2016 and has accreditations from ASIC (a British government-approved accrediting body) and ECLBS Accreditation (a quality assurance body approved by CHEA USA and INQAAHE Europe). Its focus on virtual education fits perfectly into Swiss International University's goal of combining technology with academic excellence.

In Luzern, Swiss International University has acquired the International Business Management School (ISBM Ltd), founded in 2016. It adds strength to the university's business education, ranking it among the top 2% in worldwide higher education providers.

Also included in the acquisition is the ISB Management Training Institute in Dubai, established in 2022. The academy is approved by Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), offering government-approved diplomas up to Level 8, which can be considered like a doctoral qualification. The institution also offers a course of vocational education, further spreading the university across the UAE territory.

Swiss International University has acquired the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International Pedagogy Institute in Osh in Kyrgyzstan. This university is allowed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, where students and scholars can study using traditional or online education methods. This focus on quality education offered through face-to-face and online delivery methods would ensure that students receive excellent learning experiences.
