Sunset sale of Maya Vander launches own real estate venture in Miami: 'We're taking over

Maya Vander Joins Netflix' Selling Sunset for First Five Seasons as Real Estate Agent for Oppenheim Group

The 40-year-old Selling Sunset star announced the launch of her new real estate venture, The Maya Vander Group, on Instagram on Friday.

"Introducing the Maya Vander Group team! I'm excited to continue sharing this new chapter. Miami, we take over!' Vander wrote alongside a bright photo of himself posing with three other real estate agents.

"We all work hard and insist every day. We love and respect our clients, who are critical to success in real estate," he added, urging his supporters to follow his Instagram business page @themayavandergroup.

In the comments, his Selling Sunset partner and The Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim showed his support by saying, "Yes Maya!!!!" he wrote.

His co-star Davina Potraz also wrote, "I'm proud of you." During the first five seasons of the Netflix show, fans saw Vander — who works as a real estate agent for The Oppenheim Group — divide his time between Miami and Los Angeles, where the series was created. She determined that she wanted to be in Miami full time with her husband and children. Vander shares son Aiden, 3, and daughter Elle, 2, with husband, David Miller.

In December, the reality show star said on The Domenick Nati Show podcast that he would not want to return to the hit series as a fixed cast member if it was extended for a sixth season. "I probably wouldn't be a full-time member because it would be difficult for me to go back and forth logistics, especially with a third child," said Vander, pregnant with her third child. Child at that time. She then lost her pregnancy at 38 weeks.

Vander added, "My business in Miami is doing well, and I want to focus on that - realistically, I might be more focused on Miami, my family, and my business here if we extended my contract for another season."

At the end of the season, which premiered in April, Vander said goodbye to Los Angeles and lived in Miami.
