Do you need to recover from Covid-19 or Omicron? Aside from various post-Covid complications such as shortness of breath, fatigue, or brain fog, you may also experience skin complications such as rashes, redness, and patches.
According to experts, these should not be ignored and require immediate medical attention.
Aside from heart problems, blood clotting issues, and respiratory problems from herpes and arthralgia (joint pain). During the second and third waves, the number of herpes and joint pain cases increased significantly.
Doctors advise patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle even after recovering from a Covid infection.
Skin complications after Covid are more common in females, but they are also common in senior citizens and pregnant women.
"Patients with a history of herpes and other skin complications are being reactivated. However, Dr. Vishwajeet Chavan, Orthopedic Surgeon at Apollo Spectra Pune, advises that you should seek immediate medical attention if you notice some symptoms such as rashes, redness of the skin, or patches.
"Monoclonal anti–TNF alpha antibodies can cause herpes. Since the outbreak, many people have reported herpes, joint pain, and even warts. When compared to males, females are more likely to experience these issues.
"Covid-19 has a long list of potential side effects, the most common of which are fever, dry cough, and shortness of breath." The severity also span of these symptoms vary from person to person, but some are more plausible to last well into your recovery period.
While uncomfortable and annoying, most people do not consider these recurring symptoms particularly concerning. "You must still get vaccinated or receive a booster, wear a mask, and keep a social distance," says Dr. Taymeena Kachot, Critical Care Specialist at Porvoo Transition Care.
"At home, make sure you get enough exercise and physical activity." Rather than skipping meals, eat regularly and divide your daily calories into 5-6 small meals.
