Rishabh Yadav: A 17-year old Professional athlete, becoming the youngest and best Archer of India.

The sport of Archery requires precision, control of Mind, 100% focus; the only athlete can make it big and make a name in the world. Consistency matters the most to gain the first spot in Archery. You have to be physically healthy. To make a mark at the international level, you have to work hard on a daily basis. Indoor or outdoor you have to practice hard to become the best.
India is doing good at International level in both categories. Many good archers are coming out in India from the past few years. Khelo India is giving us many proper names in all the categories. 

Out of that top names, we spotted Gurugram's young Archer, who is just 17-year-old studying in 12th standard, making a massive statement with his consistent performances at every event. We are talking about 17-year-old archer Rishabh Yadav who is becoming best Archer of India at the age of 17. He is undoubtedly the best Archer under 20 in India.

Rishabh Yadav was acknowledged as the best sportsperson by the district administration during the Republic Day celebrations at Tau Devi Lal Stadium on Sunday. 


Rishabh'sRishabh's fantastic performance in Khelo India youth games Federation of India (SGFI -  School Games Federation of India) has caught the eyes of everyone on him. Now people are taking his talent seriously and promoting him to the National and International level.

Rishabh is in the tremendous form he is hitting bull's eye whenever he is standing with his bow. After seizing a gold medal in Khelo India games, he won two gold medals and one silver medal in the individual event and one bronze medal in team event during the U-19 SGFI championship held from January 17-21.
We all know that Archery is not everyone's sport as the equipment is costly, and initially, one needs financial support to sustain themselves in the game. "Rishabh recently purchased a new kit for 2.5 lakh made in America."

High energy with a goal to win is the force which drives Rishabh, said his coach Kapil Kaushik and development coach name Abhishek Verma who is also my mentor and former Arjuna Awardee and India Rank - 1 (Senior category).

Rishabh is highly disciplined and likes to train regularly. The way he is playing, I feel he might qualify for the upcoming Olympic Games," said his coach Kaushik & Abhishek Verma.

It is not easy to become an Archer you have to take care of your diet, junk food and all are not allowed. You have to be strong mentally and physically to take the weight of 7 kg bow.
