Shoaib Akhtar's career
The Pakistani fast bowler made his international cricket debut in 1997 and retired after the 2011 World Cup. Akhtar suffered severe injuries during his career. However, he played 46 Tests, 163 ODIs, and 15 T20I matches for Pakistan. He took 178 wickets in Tests, 247 in ODIs, also 19 in T20s.
