Postpone the release date of RRR, the biggest film of 2022

RRR has a budget of Rs 400 crore, and Radhe Shyam has a budget of Rs 350 crore

The beginning of this year has proved to be deficient in Bollywood. The release date of SS Rajamouli's RRR has been postponed. Also, Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam will be released on January 14. The makers have confirmed this. Both films' release date was expected to be delayed from this morning. 

The makers of RRR may officially announce the extension of the release date till tonight. The makers are taking this decision due to the growing case of Corona, as theaters are operating with 50% occupancy in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, including Maharashtra. While theaters in Delhi are closed.

Also, Radhe Shyam, directed by Radhakrishna Kumar, has a budget of Rs 350 crore. Radhe Shyam's release date was July 30, 2021, but it was postponed due to Kovid. The trailer was released on December 23 in about 40,000 fans. The makers then announced a release date of January 14, 2022.

In Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, the administration has allowed theaters to continue with 50% occupancy. Also, the Delhi government has closed the theaters completely. The Maharashtra government has ordered theater owners not to show the show after 8 pm. After that, the makers are afraid that the film will not cover its expenses.

100 crore business was expected in Maharashtra, 50 crores in Tamil Nadu, and 60 crores from Delhi, which is not visible. The makers have since made this big decision.
