Paulo Coelho thanks Shah Rukh Khan for presenting 2020 film, "Kaamyaab" starring Sanjay Mishra.
Renowned author of the bestselling novel 'The Alchemist', Paulo Coelho took to twitter thanking Shah Rukh Khan for presenting 2020 film 'Kaamyaab' starring Sanjay Mishra. Paulo shared the tragic news of a Brazilian actor named Flavio Migliaccio who took his life, leaving behind a note on how the industry treats his artists. He praised the film and tweeted, "The producers thank you in the very 1st frame, @iamsrk. I am doing the same. 2 days ago a great Brazilian actor, Flavio Migliaccio, committed suicide, leaving a note on how the industry treats their artists. This movie, labelled as “comedy”, is, in fact, the tragedy of Art."
Paulo Coelho has been an admirer of SRK and has always said the kindest words for King Khan. Shah Rukh tweeted back saying, "Saw the film when it was doing Festival rounds and it touched a chord with the whole team at @RedChilliesEnt Am so moved you appreciate. It’s a sad truth that character actors get forgotten. Look after yourself my friend and be safe & healthy".
Paulo, in the past, had said that if Hollywood fraternity was not manipulated then, SRK would've won an Oscar for his portrayal in Karan Johar's film, 'My Name is Khan'.
'Kaamyaab' is a 2020 film written and directed by debutant Hardik Mehta, starring Sanjay Mishra and Deepak Dobriyal released in India on 6th March. The film was critically acclaimed world over, being screened in various International Film Festivals.
