Party leadership tries to convince disaffected MPs

In Britain, Liz Truss, who became prime minister on September 5, has been given an ultimatum by her party to resign by October 24. Conservative Party MPs termed him unfit for the post of PM, saying that Truce had done a U-turn. The promises he made a month and a half ago and he should step down.

A group of 100 MPs from his party held an important meeting on Monday. Also, Graham gives Brandi a letter of no confidence against Liz. Brandi is the president of a committee of the party that conducts the election of the leader.

The committee chose Liz as party leader six weeks ago after Indian-origin Rishi Sunak dropped out in the race for the PM post. He also left the post of Finance Minister. Now he has emerged as a contender again.

Indeed the Conservative Party has launched this campaign against Liz because he has made a U-turn on his key promise of tax cuts. It is spoiling the image of the party.

Now a large group of party MPs feel that the government can save Sunak's embarrassment by making him the prime minister. Sunak has been the finance minister. Jeremy Hunt could also get a chance to become PM if Liz steps down. Hunt is the finance minister. On Monday, he rolled back all the tax cuts made in the past few days.

4 Reasons Why Trust Authority is Threatened
1. Lizon promised to cut taxes, but people protested that the tax cuts were only for the rich, not the common people. Under this pressure, Liz broke her promise to cut taxes.

2. Truss is imaged as a decision-making leader. Earlier, he removed his close friend Kwasi Kwarteng soon after he was made Finance Minister. Truss decided to raise tax for companies from 19 percent to 25 percent. It is being opposed.

3. The Conservative Party lost in the first election after Liz became PM. According to a recent poll in Britain, 62 percent of British citizens believe that party voters should not elect Truss.

4. Truce has so far presented no plan to tackle many of Britain's fundamental problems. The British pound continues to depreciate against the dollar. Fuel supply from Russia has stopped. Prices are constantly increasing. Its major impact will be seen next winter.
