Hinmay Deshmukh had complained to Gosavi in ​​2018. The complaint said Deshmukh had approached Gosavi. Gosavi had advertised in SoMedia to have a place in the hotel industry in Malaysia. Gosavi had demanded Rs 3.09 lakh by promising him a job in Malaysia. 

Hinman took the money in installments, but Gosavi did not give him a job. When Hinmay asked for the money back, he did not provide it. Hinmay filed a case against Gosavi in ​​2018 under various sections, including Section 420 (fraud).
