New Covid-19 guidelines issued in National Capital Delhi, have a look before you leave home
Weekend curfew is going to begin in Delhi from Friday night amid rising Covid cases. Meanwhile the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has issued a guideline today for the opening of non-essential goods shops in malls, shopping complexes and markets for the week. By following this guideline only shops will be able to open everywhere in Delhi.
The guidelines include instructions of how shops will open on an odd-even basis and what will be the arrangement in the weekly market. These are the new guidelines regarding the working of markets:
Under the new rules and regulations, shops in shopping complexes will open on an odd-even basis from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Shops in malls too, will open on the basis of their number from 8 AM to 10 PM on an odd-even basis.
Only one weekly market will be allowed to open in all the three zones of Delhi city that too with only 50 percent shopkeepers will be allowed to set up shops.
Night Curfew guidelines: New restriction to close the office and allow passengers to sit in Metro.
Along with the Night curfew in national capital Delhi, there will be a complete curfew on Saturday and Sunday in Delhi. The curfews imposed on every Friday night at 10 PM will open only from Monday at 5 AM. No relief will be given during this.
All the government offices will remain completely closed except necessary services like Hospitals, etc. Government employees will work from home during this time.
All the offices will run with only 50 percent staff strength in Delhi.
There is a huge crowd at the metro station and bus stop even after 50 percent restriction. This can prove to be a hotspot for Corona. In such a situation, it has now been decided to run metro and buses at full capacity in Delhi. But entry will be allowed only if that individual is wearing a mask.
Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has issued an order regarding weekend curfew which will be in force from 10 PM on Friday to 5 AM on Monday.
Delhi Metro has clarified that in view of the latest guidelines issued by DDMA, the Metro will run with 100 percent seating capacity but no passenger will be allowed to travel standing up.
