Ned’s Declassified Reunion: Daniel Curtis Lee Rescues Tylor Chase from the Streets

The internet was shocked earlier this week when footage surfaced showing Tylor Chase, who played the beloved character Martin Qwerly, living on the streets of Riverside, California. In the videos, Chase appeared disheveled but remained polite, confirming his identity to fans. The clip quickly sparked a massive wave of concern across social media, leading fans and former colleagues to wonder how they could assist the former child star.

Daniel Curtis Lee’s Immediate Intervention

On December 23, 2025, Daniel Curtis Lee shared an emotional update on Instagram, documenting his journey to find Chase. Driven by a desire to get his "brother" off the streets before a major Southern California rainstorm, Lee traveled to Riverside to locate him.

The two shared a poignant reunion over a hot meal at a local pizza shop. During their time together, Lee even organized a FaceTime call with Devon Werkheiser (the titular Ned), bringing the former castmates together for the first time in years. Lee later confirmed that he had successfully checked Chase into a local hotel to provide him with "basic accommodations" and safety from the elements.

The Road to Long-Term Recovery

While a hotel room is a vital first step, Lee emphasized that the goal is long-term stability. He revealed that he is working alongside other stars, including The Mighty Ducks actor Shaun Weiss, to find a rehabilitation or detox program that would best suit Chase’s needs. Weiss, who has been open about his own past struggles with addiction and homelessness, has reportedly secured a bed for Chase at a treatment facility.

However, the situation remains delicate. Chase’s mother, Paula, has previously noted that her son struggles with bipolar disorder and that unmanaged cash can be dangerous for him. Respecting this, Lee is looking into setting up a financial trust to ensure any community donations are used strictly for professional care and recovery.

"I believe in you, and we're gonna win, bro," Lee told Chase in a video that has since touched the hearts of millions. The Ned’s Declassified cast continues to prove that their bond extends far beyond the screen, offering a glimmer of hope for Chase’s future.
