Naomi Campbell and Pat McGrath for their debut professional skincare products

Beauty industry leader Pat McGrath has completed her entrepreneurial brilliance - and her inspiration and longtime friend Naomi Campbell is leading a new campaign.

Naomi Campbell's brilliance is just one of the many qualities that made her a beauty icon. And every time the supermodel shares her advice, we take notes.

Her latest skincare craze stems from one of her closest friends, legendary makeup artist, and industry pioneer Pat McGrath. They recently introduced Divine Skin: Rose 001 The Essence, the concoction that marked her first foray into the Marked skincare realm.

"This isn't a moisturizer, this isn't a serum - it's an emulsion, a hydrating essence," McGrath told the editors' panel as he visualized the product, which is available on patmcgrathlabs.com for $86 and is labeled "Pat's brand shines in a bottle."

Consisting of 97% botanical ingredients, Divine Skin: Rose 001 The Essence is designed as a facial primer to contribute to overall healthy skin over the long term.

"I got the Divine Skin during lockdown - it was a great time for me to experiment because I have a routine," Campbell, who oversaw the campaign, was photographed by the legendary Stephen Meisel, told news.

Divine Skin: Rose 001 Its essence is the best-kept beauty secret. How long does the manufacturing process take?

Pat: That was years ago. It started when I had a super sheer moisturizer I always used on all the girls behind the scenes. I would add a little rose water to soothe the skin. So we ended up developing this beautiful formula, an ultra-thin, essence-rich, plant-oil-filled moisturizer that absorbs into the skin. It's about going behind the scenes and seeing what happens to women's skin through makeup, taking it off, putting it on, seeing all the age groups we work with, the journey we all take, and the moisture barrier on our skin is destroyed. So I have to do something to protect the skin barrier and restore the skin barrier.
