Miley tests positive for COVID-19 will miss Jane's Grammy Foundation party

"I have Covid now, but it's worth it," Cyrus said on Twitter on Friday. Miley Cyrus said she felt 'good' after testing positive for COVID-19 just days before the Grammy Awards.

"When you travel the world, play in front of 100,000 people every night and meet hundreds of fans every day, the chances of catching Covid are pretty high," the 29-year-old Angels Like You singer tweeted on Friday, adding: "I have Covid now, but that's for sure. worth it."

In a subsequent tweet, Cyrus added that she could no longer attend the sold-out fourth annual Janie's Fund event, "which sucks because it's a vital charity to me and my friend Stephen Tyler." it's OK, so don't worry about me! I'm sorry, Stephen!" he's done. "We should go here next time!"

The Janie Fund, created by Stephen Tyler, aims to "bring hope and healing to girls who have suffered the trauma of violence and neglect. Stephen first voiced this goal with his hit song "Janie's Got a Gun" and his stance that girls who are this vulnerable will have a quiet voice for years to come. Cyrus' news comes on the same day that she released her first live album, Attention: Miley Live, which also includes new songs, "Attention" and "You," as well as previous hits such as "We Can't Stop" and "Where." Is I.. Mind," plus "Blast Ball" and "Nothing Compares?"

Cyrus has also covered several songs popular with other artists, including Blondie's "Heart of Glass," Dolly Parton's "Jolene," and Madonna's "Like a Prayer." The singer-actress shared her excitement at Attention: Miley Live in her social media message to fans, noting that the show, which was recorded for the album, was "curated by fans, FOR fans!"  The singer wrote the official video for "Attention" alongside the video on Sunday.
