Miley Cyrus makes a cute t-shirt in response to her impression of Selena Gomez on SNL

Selena Gomez, who recently hosted Saturday Night Live, impressed Miley Cy during her opening monologue.

The 29-year-old "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" hitmaker showed off her DIY skills on Instagram on Tuesday, making a T-shirt that read "Damn yeah I'm Miley Cyrus" in bold letters on the front.

Cyrus proudly wears her customized tank top while posing in bed with a cup of tea, smiling at the camera and tagging the official Saturday Night Live account and ex-Disney lover Selena Gomez in the post caption. Hannah Montana arrived days later. Gomez, 29, made her best impression of Cyrus while hosting the long-running sketch comedy show Saturday night.

"It's great to be with two SNL legends. When I found out I was the hostess, I immediately contacted her for advice," Gomez said in her monologue, referring to her partners in The Only Murders in the Building, Steve Martin and Martin Short.

After remembering Martin and Short's advice, the Wolves singer told the audience that he also asked "one of my old friends, Miley Cyrus," for advice, who is a veteran SNL host and musical guest.

"Have fun," Gomez said, getting an almost perfect impression of Cyrus' voice.

"I was like, 'Miley, is this just an excuse to impress you?'" Gomez continued, seamlessly adopting the pop star's accent. "And he was like, 'Fuck you; I'm Miley Cyrus.'"

Although Cyrus and Gomez have had their ups and downs in their friendship over the years, the pair got back both in April 2020 when the Wizards of Waverly Place graduate appeared on Cyrus' Instagram show Bright Minded, where they discussed everything, as far as mental health—concerned - including the bipolar health of Gomez's disorder diagnosis.

"I'm so happy we did this new DM. It was so funny because you just sent an emoji with a butterfly," Cyrus later told Gomez on the show. "And that's enough. Connect with people and let them know you're there. The butterfly emoji will suffice.
