The 23-year-old tutor won her 14th match in a row on Friday night, bringing her total earnings to US$34,000.
Roach has now amassed a total of US$320,081 in prizes.
Roach competed alongside Claire Dozier, a non-profit professional from Atlanta, Ga., and Anna Meyer, a food technologist from Seattle, Wash., on Friday's program.
Roach attempted to buzz in 42 times and was successful 32 times, for a success percentage of 76 percent, according to the 'Jeopardy!' daily box score.
She had 28 right responses in regular play, giving her an 85 percent accuracy rate.
With his triumph on Friday, Roach became the eighth person on the all-time consecutive games list and the tenth on the all-time biggest non-tournament cash earnings list.
Roach said she never anticipated being one of the show's top champions after Friday's match.
"This has been such a wild season of streaks," Roach remarked, "and I was fully expecting Amy [Schneider] to still be here."
"If it isn't Amy, there will be another super-champion who will simply knock me out in Game One." I guess what I didn't realize is that I could be able to become the world's first super-champion."
Roach has answered 93 percent of questions right throughout her 14 appearances on the show.
Roach, from Halifax but now resides in Toronto, applied for the long-running game show in 2020. She was invited to film an episode in Los Angeles in January.
Roach will defend her title against two new competitors, Michael Graff of Eastvale, Calif., as well as Jessie Francis of Marietta, Ga., on Monday night.
