Marburg Virus: among the top 10 dangerous viruses in the world.

MARBURG VIRUS (MARV)  is first found in 1967 in Africa. All workers are work in lab mar-burg, German and then were hospitalized with an unknown disease. German workers were exposed to the tissue of infected green monkeys. During these outbreaks there are, 31 people are infected and 7 of them died. This virus incubation period is 2 to 20 days.





This disease can be transmitted from person to person by exposure to blood. Symptoms may have fever, headaches, chills. Risk factors for exposure to African green monkeys and certain bats.




Diagnosis is probably done by laboratories and Treatment is limited to supportive care. Complications include as an eye, nerve and bleeding problems and their contact with African animal and a little bit of human.
