Maralee Nichols asserts Tristan Thompson 'has done nothing to help' their two-month-old son

According to a statement released by Maralee Nichols' representative, the athlete has not "provided any financial assistance" for their two-month-old child.

Thompson's representative did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Thompson, 30, confirmed last month that he was the father of Nichols' child after previously disputing paternity.
