Manchester United: Ralf Rangnick dedicated to improving Marcus Rashford

Key takeaways:

Man Utd's Ralf Rangnick to improve Rashford:

Rashford has had a brutal campaign, with Rangnick lately accepting the England man was not in the best form.

Rangnick thinks he can help the 24-year-old return to his most refined form - and is ready to dedicate time to assure it occurs.

"Marcus has ample talent, speed, and physicality," said Rangnick.

"He has everything you require for a modern forward."

When Cristiano Ronaldo has seemed tired, fellow veteran Edinson Cavani has been wounded, and Mason Greenwood unavailable, Rashford has only netted twice since the end of October.

It is nearly six years since Rashford netted the only goal in his first Manchester derby appearance at the Etihad Stadium.

He has achieved on three more occasions against City since, although his last shot came in an EFL Cup semi-final loss over two years ago.

"I urge we will resume being after Marcus and with him to develop him," stated Rangnick.

"I will put all my energy in to help him to take the same pathway other players have done over the previous three months."
