Madonna gets another tattoo in honor of her late mother
Madonna also has tattoos on her six childhood initials, a Hebrew word, a Kabbalah design, and an "X" in honor of her latest album.

On Monday, the 63-year-old music icon posted videos and pictures to her Instagram account, showing her going under a needle to find new ink on her wrist.
The tattoo reads "Maman" - the French word for "mother" - and is in honor of Madonna's late mother and namesake, Madonna Louise Fortin, who died in 1963 when the singer was five years old. In the Instagram video she shared, Madonna says, "I'm doing this for my mom."
As Sly and the Family Stone's "Family Affair" played, a tattoo artist at the Lovers & Killers salon in Brooklyn worked on Madonna's right wrist, adding the word just below her "X" tattoo, honoring her album Madame of 2019 H.
