Lori Loflin says it's "still unbelievable" Bob Saggett dated John Stamos during IG Live

The two stars also joined Jeff Ross and John Mayer to discuss a new Netflix special, Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute, and remember the late Full House actor. Four of Bob's closest friends, Saget, come together virtually to celebrate his life and release from Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute on Netflix.

On Friday, John Stamos went live on his Instagram and was joined by his Full House star Lori Laughlin and friends Jeff Ross and John Mayer.

During their chat, the four stars talked about the new Netflix special released on Friday and reminisced about some of their fondest memories with Saget.

"He always wanted something special for Netflix," Ross, 56, said at one point during the live broadcast. "I don't think anyone has broadcast a funeral since Lady Diana died, so the fact that this is happening now is a bit bittersweet for Bob, but I think he would be proud of it."

"The proceeds go to a charity that Bob cares about," he said, referring to the Scleroderma Research Foundation, to which Sagett dedicated his life's work after his sister Gay died of the disease in 1994. "I was hoping for a little better after seeing him because I feel better. "

"He's been going to brag about it for a long time," joked Mayer, 44. In his rare appearance on social media, Loflin, 57, spoke about Sagett's death and noted how he received overwhelmingly supportive reactions from relatives and strangers.

"I thought it was heartbreaking. People I didn't know came up to me and said, 'I'm sorry for your loss,' and people told me how much Bob meant to them," she explains. He was everyone's father; he was a part of everyone's childhood... I still find it hard to believe that Bob is gone."

At another point in the discussion, friends talk about Saget's musical talent. Stamos, 58, said his favorite actor was "more musically gifted than you think."

"Kelly [Rizzo] was kind enough to give me one of Bob's guitars," the actor told Sagett's wife. "If I'm throwing a birthday party or he's at my house for something, he'll be thrilled... I have a great video of Bob singing 'Imagine.' "

Mayer agrees, noting that Saget "really plays like a musician when he plays. The song may be funny, but the performance is original."
