Lane Fernandez dies just 28, after giving birth to her son.

Lane Fernandez appeared on MTV's Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant alongside Mallory Beaver for two seasons in 2020 and 2021.

Teen Mom: Ex-girlfriend of starlet and Pregnant Mallory Beaver Lane Fernandez has died three weeks after meeting her son with his wife. He is 28 years old.

Lane's wife, Kylie Rose Fernandez, confirmed the tragic news in a Facebook post-Monday, saying how "lost" she felt after her husband's death.

"I'm so lost without you, baby...I love you to the moon also back, and I know you take care of us. I'll miss you forever," she wrote. "You always do."

"Nolin, Emerson, and I love you so much, and you have been an amazing father, dog, father, and husband," he continued, referring to his newborn son and daughter Lane from his relationship with Mallory.

"You will forever be my rock and best friend," Kylie added. "I miss you more than anything, baby."

Lane's cause of death is still unknown. MTV officials did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Lane starred alongside Mallory in MTV's Teen Mom: Young and Pregnancy for seasons 2 and 3 in 2020 and 2021, according to Page Six. Throughout two seasons, the couple tried to mend their relationship and raise their baby daughter, Emerson.

In one of his most recent posts on Facebook, Lane expressed how excited he is to be the father of a baby boy while writing a tribute to his wife's Mother's Day.

"Happy Mother's Day to My Queen! The dogs and I love you so much and thank you daily. I can't wait to meet our little son," he wrote. "I hope you have a wonderful day, which you deserve." After Lane's death, Mallory and her sister Rachel took to social media to express their condolences.

Mallory shared an old video of Lane with baby Emerson, now three years old, on her Instagram story, simply captioning the post "RIP."

Rachel also posted a throwback and shared a photo of Lane swimming in the pool with her daughter.

"I can't even begin to express the pain I'm feeling right now," she wrote alongside the photo. "He's gone too fast... Calm down, Lane."
