The full-time job is consistent with Kim Kardashian's Marilyn Monroe Met Gala content.
On Friday, the tycoon revealed on Instagram that she transformed into another iconic gown from Marilyn Monroe's collection - an emerald green gown by Norman Norel with sequins that the screen icon wore late to the 1962 Golden Globes.
"To end my evening after The Met, I had the honor of wearing a Norman Norell Marilyn Monroe gown, which she wore to the Golden Globes in 1962 - where she received the Henrietta Award for World's Favorite Film," Kardashian shared in a photo of the gown. . "In my search for the Jean Louis beaded gown I wore to the gala, I found that @heritageauctions had Marilyn's iconic green sequin gown."
"Then, doing my research, I found out that the owner of the Golden Globe he received tonight is none other than my friend @jeffleatham. I take it all as a sign of how all stars are managed," he added. It's still unclear whether Kardashian is wearing an actual Monroe dress or a pike.
In a previous interview with Vogue, the star revealed that she has a "replica" of her 1962 Golden Globe dress, adding, "I thought I could wear this to eat pizza in my hotel room."
Monroe historian Scott Fortner, who owns one of the private collections of the late world's biggest star, took to his Instagram account asking if the green dress was for real: "Who owned it. Marilyn's 1962 Golden Globe gown? First you said that @ juliens_auctions, then you update your post to @heritageauctions," wrote the account, Friday.
"But I think you think we forgot that you said you had your copy, as quoted in your May 2 interview with @voguemagazine," he added. For the 2022 Met Gala on the red carpet, Kardashian stepped out in Monroe's famous "Happy" Birthday Dress, Mr. President," with boyfriend Pete Davidson, celebrating her partner's debut at the Met.
"The idea came to me after the gala last September. What would I do with the American theme if it weren't for Balenciaga's vision? What's the most American thing you can think of? And that's Marilyn Monroe," Kardashian told Vogue.
She added, "For me, Marilyn Monroe's most important moment is when she sings JFK's Happy Birthday, that's her performance."
