Keanu Reeves walks the red carpet for the first time with his girlfriend

Key Takeaways:

On Saturday, actor Keanu Reeves and his artist girlfriend Alexandra Grant attended the MOCA Gala in Los Angeles, making a rare red carpet appearance. Keanu, 57, and Alexandra, 49, had been together for a long time and were a view to behold on the red carpet as they made their first public appearance in almost three years. They posed hand in hand for the photographers.

Alexandra wore a red gown with silver flats, while Keanu wore a black suit with a striped tie. The occasion took place at the Geffen Contemporary at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.

Fans of the actor showered the two with love when Keanu's fan page on Instagram shared their photo. "It's incredibly lovely how couples truly look so similar," a fan said. They're adorable, and she's a talented artist!" Another person described them as a "lovely couple." "I sense love and happiness here?" observed another enthusiast. "Wow, wonderful image; maybe your followers might see a wedding for you two; wow, we all want you to be happy," one remark added.

According to actress Jennifer Tilly, Alexandra had referred to Keanu as her "lover," who verified this in a 2020 interview with Page Six. "I remember a few years ago, around a year and a half ago, she stated, 'Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend,' and also I was like, 'Wait. What?'" Jennifer recalled. What? What?'"

Alexandra told Vogue that her phone didn't stop ringing after she crossed the red carpet with Keanu. Vogue quoted her as saying, "I believe everyone I knew contacted me in the initial week of November, intriguing. But, throughout it all, I've been asking myself, 'What is the chance for good?'"

Keanu was last seen in The Matrix Resurrections in 2021. Lana Wachowski's film also included actor Priyanka Chopra. He'll now be heard voicing a character in the DC League of Super-Pets animated film.
