The 43-year-old actress joined hands with boyfriend Bobby Wooten III on the red carpet for the premiere of their film Alone Together -- written and directed by and attending Holmes -- at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Tuesday.

Holmes look chic in a long white dress, gold jewelry, and a nude clutch. The 33-year-old musician wore dark green pants with a white button-down shirt and kept his jacket open. Last month, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Moth Ball's 25th Anniversary Gala at Spring Studios in New York City.

Wooten and Holmes first sparked romance rumors when spotted in April in New York with Dawson-Star Creek's mother. In this photo obtained exclusively by PEOPLE, the couple can be seen kissing and holding hands as they walk the streets of New York. Once during an afternoon walk in April, Cathy was seen hugging Wooten. Wooten and Holmes take the subway and visit the Guggenheim Museum and Central Park.

Wooten is now playing bass in Moulin Rouge! A Broadway musical and he recently starred in Coachella alongside Carly Ray Jepsen.

He is also a former Grammy Award nominee, an assistant teacher at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and a Chicago native - transplanted as Midwestern Holmes who grew up in Toledo, Ohio.

A source told news of Wooten in April: "He's a fantastic person, so friendly, so talented, and just a cool guy in every way.

"He's a very skilled bass player and musician and is cool, brilliant, and funny," the insider added.
