Kate Middleton Admits to Being "Very Broody"
Key takeaways:
- Even though Kate Middleton and Prince William have indicated that they do not wish to have more children, she still feels "broody."
- Kate's jewellery choices might also signal that their family is complete, since she wears various necklaces with their 3 children's initials.
Kate Middleton has already stated that she and Prince William do not want to have any more children, but this hasn't stopped her from feeling "broody."
Kate met with parents and their newborns during a visit to the University of Copenhagen on Tuesday's first day of her solo royal tour in Denmark.
She was in attendance to hear from world-renowned academics directing the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project, which aims to improve the mental health of newborns and their parents' relationships.
Kate, the mother of three children: Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, has made early childhood development a priority in her royal work. And being around infants all of the time has turned into a health danger!
Kate remarked, "It makes me extremely broody during the excursion." "William is usually concerned when I meet children under the age of one. 'Let's have another one,' I remark when I get home."
During the couple's visit to Lancashire last month, William joked about Kate having another child.
The couple met Trudi and Alastair Barrie and their daughter Anastasia while taking photographs with several families. Onlookers cooed as Kate carried the newborn girl as they posed for a photo, leading Prince William to remark, "Don't give my wife any more ideas!"
"Don't take her with you," William joked as Kate gave the infant back to her parents.
Kate admitted she felt "broody" when she met an adorable 5-month-old baby during a visit to Northern Ireland in February 2019.
"Baby number four?" the baby's father confidently inquired.
"I believe William would be a bit apprehensive," Kate answered, laughing.
And royal admirer Josh Macpalce joyfully informed Kate that he had given her cards congratulating her after each of her 3 kids was born while speaking with the audience during a visit to the town of Bradford in January 2020.
Kate informed him, "I don't think William wants any more."
Kate's jewelry selections may also imply that their family is complete since she wears multiple necklaces with the initials of their three children.
