Kane Lim from Bling Empire Becomes the Face of Fenty Beauty and His Friendship with Rihanna!

"I have developed this newfound confidence because of this opportunity," Lim told news about her new concert.

Fenty Beauty shines in new splendor!

On Monday, billionaire brand Rihanna announced the new Fenty Face from Kane Lim's Bling Empire. The 31-year-old Netflix star will be Southeast Asia's first brand ambassador and star in a new campaign debuting at Sephora's flagship store in Singapore this month.

"It was very humbling," Lim told news about his new partnership. "I developed this newfound confidence because of this opportunity."

While Lim is known for her charming on-camera personality, real estate developers and philanthropists are not always so confident. So this syndicate means a lot to me in terms of self-esteem. People look at my Instagram and think differently, but that's because you can manage and edit those posts. But with the campaign... it's different. It's more accurate. It's annoying... As I was shooting, I was like, "Oh, wow." That was the first photo I didn't need in Photoshop, which was awesome."

He added: "That's why I did this. I wanted to show that everyone suffers from insecurity, and we are here to deal with that problem."

Discussing how the partnership came to be, Lim said he and 34-year-old Rihanna have been messaging directly on Instagram for years.

"When season one of Bling came out, he was like, 'So when is season two coming out?' From there, we've sent emojis and fun. He's the sweetest person, and when it happened, I said, 'You've helped me a lot. That means a lot to me."

In addition, Lim said her role as a brand ambassador was critical to uplifting and celebrating the black and Asian communities. "Conversations about working with Fenty first surfaced at the height of the Black Lives Matter and Stopped Asian Hate movements. [Rihanna] is one of the few big icons to line up with us, which means a lot to us. He said: "It's bigger than the brand; it's bigger than Fenty. It's bigger than me; it's bigger than you. It improves both communities.
