The star of The Mama June: The Road to Redemption reportedly married Justin Stroud in less than a year on March 23 at the Georgia Courthouse... Mama June Shannon was a bride.

Mama June: The Road to Redemption star, 42, married E! News and Entertainment Tonight; it was confirmed at Wilkinson County Court that the two are married.

"We've known each other for a year. We are good friends, and over the last eight months, we have decided to take the next step," he told the UK edition of his engagement to a car mechanic. She sent this sweet message and said, "Hey, how are you? I hope you have a fantastic day. Paying attention to the little things made me fall in love with Justin.

Shannon continues, "Justin is an amazing person, and he understands everything I go through. I managed to share things with him that I could never share with anyone else — even with my kids, and it's great to have this partnership." This is the first marriage of a reality TV star from WE TV, whose dating past is shrouded in contradictions.

In 2014, Shannon was linked to sex offender Mark McDaniel, which led to the cancellation of his TLC series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. That same year, June's daughter, Anna, revealed that she was a victim of McDaniel, starting when she was eight years old. He told PEOPLE that he would "try to touch [him] and all that stuff" when he dated his mother.

In 2019, while dating girlfriend Jeno Doak, Shannon was arrested for possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia after she was accused of using cocaine and whistles. Doak was also arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He later admitted that he and Doke had a $2,500-a-day addiction to methamphetamine.

In August 2020, Shannon announced on Instagram that she had been sober for six months, writing, "This is probably the best thing I'm proud of."
