Jordan Woods Plastic Surgery Allegations Are Defended By Carl-Anthony Towns.
Key Sentence:
- "All-natural," wrote Carl-Anthony Towns about his friend Jordine Woods' body transformation.
- After she was confronted with plastic surgery allegations when she launched her fitness app FrstPlace.
Carl-Anthony Towns celebrates his girlfriend's achievements and defends her from haters. The 25-year-old Minnesota Timberwolves Center defended Jorden Woods on Thursday after criticizing his body transformation. "We mean women can't work hard and change their bodies?" it started in a long thread on Twitter.
"I've seen the hard work and seen the results, and believe me, it's all-natural," continued Townes. "Ever since she was 10, people have been calling this woman dirty for her weight, and instead of letting the internet rule her life.
FITNESS SAVED HER LIFE!"
The topic comes after Woods, 23, released his new fitness app, FrstPlace, this week. She celebrated her efforts by posting photos of her fitness journey before and after, which drew a backlash in the comments section accusing her of having cosmetic surgery.
"And the people who have those fingers on Twitter, who make others feel guilty so they can feel better, I will respond to their hate with love, because THIS IS JORDIN WANT TO CONTINUE YOUR LOVE," Towns wrote. "So I pray to these people and hope you get your attention but, more importantly, the love you miss so much. And to you, the only @jordynwoods, I love you, baby. Every day you make me proud that I call you my girl, my queen, my rock, my everything."
Are we saying that women can't work hard and change their bodies? I've seen the hard work and seen the results, and believe me; it's all-natural. From the age of 10, people called this woman disgusting for her weight instead of letting her go.
"I could write a book about why the world needs more people like YOU," Towns wrote. "Whatever fake stories they try to paint you (an incredible phony account, I might add), the next generation is fortunate to have you as a role model.
"John smiles at you every day, how you deal with things and how you treat people who don't deserve your kindness," he added of Woods' father, who died of cancer at the age of 19.
Woods previously wrote his reply to the comments, which he met a week after release. "I started my fitness platform because I struggled with my identity for years. My weight on the internet has judged me for about ten years," she wrote.
"I became a young woman before anyone else, and I'm still growing and learning every day," Woods continued. "Everyone has the right to know every little thing on the internet, but to be honest, it's nobody's business; I was very depressed about five years ago, and then my dad died. I smiled, but every day was a different struggle, and then I found out the gym. Work is my therapy and my savior."
