John Travolta's son, 11, adopts a puppy from Betty White's Oscar Awards: 'Greatest Winner of All'

"This is an emotional ending and the perfect tribute to Betty White," said Jamie Lee Curtis of John Travolta's son, who adopted Mac N Cheese.

The rescued puppy, part of Betty White's 94th Academy Awards, already has a home - with John Travolta.

Mac N Cheese takes center stage in a Jamie Lee Curtis scene as he congratulates White and his commitment to animal rights and charity during Sunday's In Memoriam Oscars.

Travolta's 11-year-old son, Ben, has now adopted his beloved dog.

Travolta, 68, shared the sweet news on Instagram on Monday with a photo of Ben holding a Mac N Cheese with the fictional porridge star smiling behind them.

"Ben adopted this dog last night in honor of Betty White for the Oscars. Thank you, @curtisleejamie & @pawworks," Travolta wrote in the caption. Curtis posted the photo on his own Instagram and called the adoption the "MAGICAL end to last night's story."

"I was happy to see her with her, but today I realized that she and her son Ben have adopted a lovely little poppy and cheese and brought it home today," Curtis wrote. Curtis continued, "This is an emotional ending and the perfect tribute to Betty White, illuminating and amplifying the message that characters like Betty and Chad from @pawworks and Nancy from @perfect_pet_rescue and the @maedayrescue team and hundreds of thousands of other rescuers love." and support ANIMALS saving animals and offering shelter from the storms of life and a warm and loving home is one of the important actions in life that we as humans can do! #adopdontshop."

Paw Works to Rescue Dogs also celebrated the adoption on Instagram, writing, "On a night of winners and losers, we think Mac N Cheese is the biggest winner of all!"
