Singer Jesse Jay received tremendous support after revealing on Instagram that she had a miscarriage. "I decided to have a baby alone. Because that's all I want, and life is short," she wrote. "Being pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and will live again.
"I'm still in shock, and the sadness is insurmountable. But I know that I am strong, and I know that I am better." She added, "I also know that millions of women around the world have felt this pain, and it is much worse. So I feel connected to those I know and those I don't.
"I want to be honest."
Along with a sad emoji, the 33-year-old British star, known for hits like Price Tag and Dominoes, announced that she had her third scan on Wednesday but was told she was out of the heart. He will have a concert in Los Angeles that evening and said he plans to continue the show "because I know that singing will help me tonight."

The singer added a quote from poet Leyda Noir, who said: "Sometimes love isn't enough to make it work, and that's good. It doesn't mean you failed."
Responses included fellow pop star Paloma Faith, who wrote, "Jesse, you did 100% the right thing. I had a miscarriage on set, and I continued filming. You get your joy in singing, and you need your joy more than ever. You will and should have a baby. Amazing woman!"

Jesse Jay later added, "Your massive and instant outpouring of love is deeply felt, accepted, and appreciated. And he got me out of bed this morning. Thank you very much."

- Jesse Jay has spoken about his desire to have children and the difficulty of conceiving.
The singer mentioned her fertility issues in an interview with BBC News 2019. She was diagnosed with adenomyosis five years earlier, and doctors told her she couldn't conceive naturally.
In adenomyosis, the tissue that usually covers the uterus begins to grow on the muscular wall of the uterus. It is associated with an increased risk of miscarriage and premature birth. The singer rejected suggestions for a hysterectomy, saying she changed her diet and lifestyle to counter the possibility.
