Jennifer Aniston ate the same salad for ten years while filming 'FRIENDS'
In 2019, while promoting her Apple TV+ series 'The Morning Show,' the 53-year-old revealed that she practiced intermittent fasting.
Unlike the indecisive character she recreated on the show FRIENDS, Jennifer Aniston has been relatively consistent in real life, specifically when it comes to her diet. The actor reportedly ate the same type of food while filming the hit sitcom, which aired for ten years: a salad.
Courtney Cox, Aniston's close friend and co-star on the show, revealed that, like Rachel Green, who valued health and wellness, Aniston adhered to her diet.
In an old consultation with the Los Angeles Times, the actor revealed that she and her co-stars would eat "lunch together every day for ten years." "It was a Cobb salad that Jennifer customized with turkey bacon, garbanzo beans, and I'm not sure what else." She has a gift with food, which is highly beneficial. "Because if you're going to eat the same salad every day for ten years, it'd better be a good salad," she was quoted as saying.
While the show ended many years ago, its relevance and popularity remain, fans worldwide still celebrating the six main characters.
Aniston had even shared a "slightly altered version" of the salad with the Living Proof Instagram account, which included "bulgur, onion, parsley, mint, chopped pistachio nuts, diced cucumber, chickpeas, and feta cheese."
This salad appears to have gone viral again, as it has been picked up by the video-sharing app TikTok as well as Instagram. In addition, netizens have been tossing up their leveled-up versions of the healthy food item, dubbed the 'Jennifer Aniston Salad.'
Eating Healthy, an Instagram account, shared the recipe in case you're thinking about making one for yourself while watching a rerun of the show.
