JEE & NEET 2020 entrance exams will be announced on May 5th, 2020.

According to the sources the ministry, The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) will announce the dates of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on 5th May 2020.


Dates were not announced due to the nationwide lockdown, earlier, the Entrance Exams were delayed till may end. 


The JEE (Main) was scheduled between 7th and 11th April, while NEET on May 3, 2020.

 

HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to consult stakeholders like boards of examinations, IITs and other agencies involved in logistical operations of JEE and NEET. 


More than 9 Lakh applicants registered to appear for the medical entrance test JEE (Main) and 16 Lakh for NEET.

 

Meanwhile, the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will be hosting a webinar for students to address any queries. He will interact with them via his Twitter and Facebook pages on 5th May at NOON. Pokhriyal tweeted on Saturday, ”Students, I am hosting a webinar exclusively for you, via my Twitter (@DrRPNishank) & Facebook (@cmnishank) pages. Please join me on 5th May at 12 noon! To ensure the safety of students, the candidates will get the opportunity to change the city from which they wish to appear for the exam. This step is also taken to minimize the travel of the students with their parents/guardians.


 The editing option in the application of JEE Main and NEET will be closed today, 03/05/2020. Editing and changes can be made in the application through the (National Testing Agency) NTA’s JEE Main, NEET websites - jeemain.nta.nic.in, ntaneet.nic.in.
