Indian Government Raised 3 rupees excise duty on Petrol and Diesel.
The Government of India increased 3 rupees on Petrol and Diesel as excise duty which will not affect regular prices at which we buy.
Recently we show a significant drop in prices globally in crude oil. Nearly two to six rupees got decreased in the past few weeks, but we can expect much from the Government. We can expect Petrol and Diesel go below 63 and 60 if the condition remains the same globally.
According to new notification by Central Government of Indirect taxes and customs, special excise duty on Petrol and Diesel hiked by 2 to 8rs per litre. 4rs in Petrol and 2rupees on Diesel and road cess was increased to 1 to 5rs in Petrol and Diesel.
When BJP or say Modi Government came in 2014 taxes were nearly 9.48 on Petrol and Diesel it was 3.5 a litre. Government of India has raised taxes or say prices on Petrol and Diesel more than nine times.
According to the Government, the first benefit was given to the public when the price was reduced. Government is taking this for balancing the tight fiscal situation in India.
It will help our nation to grow faster in many departments. Prices have come down from nearly 6rupees per litre in Petrol and Diesel, and we will see prices go down in both Petrol and Diesel in coming time looking to the global situation.
